Since i posted details of repairs to a rechargeable toothbrush about a year ago i have been asked to repair a number of toothbrushes but the postage and packing to other countries made it uneconomic to do them. I was asked by a friend to look at a rechargeable toothbrush that was no longer holding a charge. Click here for details of the work carried out.

A friend had a rechargeable battery powered hair trimmer which was no longer holding the charge. Although she has had it for about 13 years it was still in good condition and i thought that if it could be opened up and the battery replaced it would give many more years of use. The garden at the caravan was not a great success and many of the plants did not develop as rapidly or to the size i had hoped in great part due to the relatively poor summer months in the Scottish Borders. They did develop later in the summer when the weather was much improved. Click here for more information. I recently started work trying to repair a Radio/CD player belonging to a friend. It had never worked reliably since it was originally purchased. I felt it was worth some time investiagting if the unit could be repaired. If nothing else it would increase my knowledge of the construction of this type of product and possible uses for the technology in my own projects. Click here for more information on this project. |
