I suspect that the first tray will have to be written off.
The French Marigold seeds were planted on Saturday and given the amount of sun in the window and the propagator i expect some signs of germination within the next 48-72 hours. Here the 40 cell tray is sitting on the home made heated propagator i developed late last year. The propagator cover has been removed for the photograph to be taken. |
The Aubergines have all come through and look to be quite healthy.
Since more and regular water has been applied to the Impatiens they have developed further and more seeds have started to germinate.
The Begonias are still developing and they also look healthy, so far there are no signs of disease. From past experience Begonia's can take quite a while to germinate and their progress can be slow so i know that patience is the best approach. However this year the seeds germinated quickly and progress is good, so fingers crossed.
The great news is that the tomato seeds have started to germinated and many root shoots can be seen making their way down into the compost. This is particularly encouraging as the seeds were only planted on Wednesday 4th February 2015 and the packet of seeds had a date code on it from 2008!
